Monitoring Force Performance
In addition to the performance reports received by the Strategic Planning and Performance Committee, police authority Members are also able to obtain updates on Force performance by way of the Performance Tracker. This is part of an internal performance management system that provides accurate information to Members and chief officers to enable closer scrutiny of all Force performance areas, including crime and anti-social behaviour throughout Gwent. In this way, performance objectives and improvement can be regularly monitored outside police authority meetings.
