Model Publication Scheme
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, public authorities have to produce a Publication Scheme. The Model Publication Scheme employed by Gwent Police Authority has been prepared and approved by the Information Commissioner.
The Publication Scheme commits us to make information available to the public as part of our normal business activities. Please view our Guide to Information for an overview of the documents available under this Scheme.
Responsibilities for the Gwent Police Authority Publication Scheme
The Chief Executive of Gwent Police Authority has overall responsibility for our Publication Scheme. The Business and Member Services Manager is responsible for maintaining and managing the scheme.
The Aim of the Scheme
The aim of the Publication Scheme is to set out:
- What information Gwent Police Authority publishes or intends to publish as a matter of course.
- How we will publish this information.
- Whether the information will be available free of charge or on payment.
