Current Consultations
Gwent Police Authority's consultation activities take place throughout the year.
Current consultations:
- Equality Objectives - an electronic survey to help us develop new equality objectives.
- PACT process - an ongoing process of engagement and consultation with your community.
- Victim Satisfaction survey - a telephone survey designed to measure satisfaction with the police service received following reporting a crime or incident.
- Local Public Confidence survey - an ongoing process designed to assess how residents view the service provided by the police and by their colleagues in the local council.
Previous consultations:
- 'How would you spend it' Results: Spring 2011 (policing priority questionnaire) - an e-survey to find out how you would prioritise the key areas of police service provision in Gwent.
- Understanding the BME Satisfaction Gap - Gwent Police Authority invited police service users from BME communities across Gwent to take part in a series of focus groups to help improve the satisfaction gap between white and BME police service users.
- Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) survey - a public opinion poll conducted on the proposed replacement of police authorities with PCCs.
- Stop and Search recall exercise - after distributing Stop and Search 'Know Your Rights' leaflets to students at Newport University and Coleg Gwent, a recall exercise was undertaken at the Freshers Fairs held at the different campuses.
